Hands first. Words second.

Ways to learn what we do on a working farm in Coopersburg, Pennsylvania. Most are half a day, all hands-on, and you go home with what you made.

WHY WE TEACH

People ask me what my crop is, what we grow here. I tell people, we grow lives. That's our crop.

— Kathy, to Lehigh Valley Style

Every class and camp is part of that same crop.

Cheese, bread, fiber arts, summer camp, internships. Every program here is hands-on and taught by people who do this work daily. The summer camp's own goals put it plainly: team-work ethic, increased self-esteem, greater awareness of food choice options, and appreciation for natural resources, plants, and animals. That's the crop Kathy's talking about.
