Riding lessons for all ages and every level of skill, year round. Private or in a small group, on a working farm rather than a lesson yard.
What a lesson includes
You do not just show up and get on. Kim chooses the horse, and the lesson covers grooming, saddling up, safe leading and riding, then untacking and taking care of the horse afterward. Learning to care for the horse is part of learning to ride it.
Lessons run year round, in an outdoor ring in summer and the indoor arena through the winter, for beginners through advanced riders.
Helmets are required. Long pants and shoes with a heel.
What it costs
Introductory hour
A full hour, and the best way in. Kim picks the right horse for you, and you groom, saddle, lead and ride.
Four half-hour lessons
For a rider carrying on after the intro hour: saddling, safe leading and riding, half an hour at a time. Helmet rental is free with this one.

Kim has taught at Flint Hill Farm for twenty years. She takes beginners and beginner-to-intermediate riders of every age, and the farm also runs intermediate and advanced lessons.
Small numbers, and time spent with the horse on the ground as well as in the saddle.
