VISIT

Scouts on the farm.

Badge work, service hours, Eagle and Star projects, and overnight camping in the wood lot for troops up to 25.

Badge work

We run badge activities for:

  • Forestry
  • Metal Work
  • Horse Lovers
  • Farm Mechanics
  • Veterinary Medicine

Bring your own ideas too. We welcome Eagle and Star Award projects. If you need one, we have plenty of ideas for projects that would genuinely help the farm.

Troops and individual scouts are also welcome to come and volunteer together to earn service hours.

Staying over

Overnight camping for groups of up to 25, in the wood lot or on the grass near the greenhouse. Bring your own tents. There's a bonfire area, weather permitting.

Farm chores are part of it if you want them to be: egg collection, feeding the chickens and ducks, helping with pony turn-out, feeding the calves, goats and sheep. In March and April that means babies.

Dress for the weather.
